Riptide is an ideal choice for those who want a highly aggressive acid cleaner without the added cost of hazardous-material shipping. It is FedEx shipping–safe and remains inactive until mixed with water. Once diluted, the ABF formulation converts to hydrofluoric acid (HF), providing strong cleaning performance for tough oxidation, grime, and road film.

Mixing & Safety

We recommend mixing Riptide at a 4:1 ratio when applying with a 10:1 injector. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or mixing the chemical, and use clean water to ensure consistent performance.

Dilution & Application

RTU (Ready to Use): Dilute at 5:1 to 7:1
Final Application: Apply at 60:1 to 70:1 for optimal results

Use Riptide as Step #1 in your two-step wash process. For best results, follow with Beartooth or Yellowstone as Step #2.
